Overview
During my fall internship at Simihaze Beauty, I was responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing social media campaigns for Instagram and TikTok to drive engagement, content consistency, and brand awareness.
Problem
Simihaze Beauty needed consistent, on-brand content that could grow engagement ahead of upcoming product launches while maintaining a cohesive visual identity.
Solution
I designed and scheduled Instagram posts and reels aligned with campaign themes, created engaging captions and hashtags to increase reach and engagement, tracked and analyzed engagement metrics (likes, saves, shares), and assisted in strategy meetings to align content with the 2025 holiday 'RED COLLECTION' launch.
Results
Over the campaign period, engagement increased by 24%, the @simihazebeauty account gained 1,099 new followers organically, and one of the posts I worked on became a top-performing asset with over 120K interactions.
What I learned
This project sharpened my ability to connect day-to-day content execution with bigger launch objectives, interpret engagement metrics in context, and iterate quickly on creative decisions without losing brand voice.
